Sunday 20th October 2019
Rond Terrace: Rond Terrace, Canberra, Australia
Welcome to A Walk in the Park! We are glad you are able to join us for the biggest community event in the Parkinson's ACT fundraising calendar.
A Walk in the Park takes place on the beautiful banks of Lake Burley Griffin in Canberra's pleasant October Spring (so make sure you rug up!). This year we will hold the first timed Nordic Walking race as well as adding a 5km walk or run. We welcome all to this child and pet friendly day of active fun, performances and food!
A Walk in the Park is the most important source of funding for the many activities Parkinson’s ACT conducts in pursuing its mission: to support people with Parkinson’s, their families and friends in the ACT and surrounding region. Participate proudly and unite together in support and in memory.
Please share this event and if you can help by fundraising or donating, your support will help people living with Parkinsons in the ACT.
We look forward to seeing you at the event in October!
