Our ultimate aim is to provide inspiring, extraordinary and affordable cycle relay events. Imagine cycling on super-smooth asphalt with on a closed-road motor racing circuit!

We will return to The Bend in March 2022 for our third year with our three Endurance Cycling Relays - 24, 12 and 6 hour challenges - all on the weekend of 26/27 March.

We are also planning to  announce more exciting events to take place during the weekend - so watch this space!

The Bend Motorsport Park is the newest circuit in Australia with all the facilities you would expect of Australia's only circuit to comply with the latest FIA Grade 2 and FIM Category A standards. We will be riding the 4.95km GT Circuit - the same one as the Supercars. There are also a number of choices for accommodation including the Rydges Pit Lane Hotel, the Big 4 Holiday Park and using your own RV in the paddock.

Team Format & Challenge. The Revolve24 12 Hour Relay is open to soloists and relay teams of two or four. Non-cycling Crew Members are also welcome to provide strategy, support and encouragement. Whilst competing for category prizes, we also welcome folks looking for a personal challenge, teams looking for a fun weekend of cycling and those hoping to raise funds for JDRF.

Event details and schedule

Friday Evening (25 March 2022) check-in will be open from 18:00-21:00 in the Welcome Centre. Please bring your personal ID (driver's license, AusCycling membership). Remember that you need to be a member of Aus Cycling to secure your event insurance. Day memberships will be available for purchase at check-in. It is also vital that you have the SA Covid-Safe App on your phone and check in to the venue on arrival using the QR code.

Saturday (26 March 2022) Check-in opens at 08:00 and all Team Captains and Soloists will be expected to attend a briefing at prior to the start..

As only one team member is allowed on the track at a time during the event, we have created an opportunity to enable all the teams’ riders to cycle together around the circuit. This will be during Team Orientation which takes place during Saturday morning.

The Grand Start of our 12 hour relay will be at 7.00pm, This is when the strategy really starts to kick in, both for the soloists and for relay teams. How many laps for a soloist before a break and how many laps before a transition for a relay team member? During the transition the ‘baton’ – a slapband bracelet – must be passed to the next cyclist within the transition area in the Pit Lane.

Riders can compete for King/Queen of The Mountain, Fastest Lap and Overall/Category Champion.

Using the website or via the screens in the paddock area, everyone will be able to see their stats and position throughout the event.

Sunday (27 March 2022) At 7:00am the chequered flag comes down and attention quickly shifts to the podium for the prize-giving ceremony. Achievement mementos will be made available to all competitors.
